UID founded earlier this year with five other companies in southern Germany and the computer science research campus of the University of Passau usability EF.EU network. EF.EU stands for European Forum for Enhanced Usability. The goal of the initiative: to make the benefits of user-friendly IT products to the public. There are already joint research projects around usability in planning - whether in the areas of Enterprise Resource Planning or building. In the congregation at Straubing Oberschneiding created a center for usability testing with the laboratory. Also, a separate date for World Usability Day in Lower Bavaria is being considered. Such activities will strengthen the region Niederbayern EF.EU as a research and business location. Full of enthusiasm we get to work and hope that EF.EU 2010 Annual growing.
